surgery
I just got word that Nolan is going into surgery. They are concerned that he may have a necrotic area in his gut, as an ultrasound today showed a large bruised area. If there is a necrotic area, they may be able to remove it now but if they waited, they would not be able to. Or at least that’s what I understand.
I gather that Nolan is more stable today, despite this news. They think he is stable enough to undergo surgery, which seems like a good thing to me.

Thank you Maria for this post. I have two classes to teach this evening and will ensure that all movements are dedicated to Nolan’s safety and healing during and after surgery. Although Shannon is still in CA, he can be reached by phone ususally after 9pm your time, if Ronan/Kara/anyone needs his support.

Hey dear ones, we’ve been keeping up with Nolan since day one with the site and your family. We can’t pack enough love in this post, but we sure hope you’re feelin’ it. Phew! Thank god. Thank goddess. Thank goodness. Thank Grover, Ganesh, and Godiva. Thank good googlimoogli. I’m thanking them all. So happy to know he made it through the surgery well (and to be forewarned of tough days ahead).
You Peterberrys are just amazing. Just amazing. My heart poureth over for the clan — and a gentle kiss for the birthday boy. Yea Superbaby!

well happy birthday to nolan. Im glad to hear that his surgery went well. i was thinking about all of you. Nolan you are a huge fighter. I hope taht you guys are doing well. I think about you guys night and day. Nice cupcakes they are cute. well hope that you guys have a good weekend full of good news. love you guys.
