Lil’ Quick News Flash
Nolan weighs in last night…(drumroll, please) at a little over 5 pounds! we are very excited about so many things, there is talk of him coming home in the foreseeable future, possibly mid february, if everything stays the current course. There is a lot to happen before then but I just wanted to get the news out. and to answer Peters question, yes he is over a month past his original due date, which was december 6. keep those positive vibes coming, they are definitely working. thanks to maria for the last round of photos and for so very much more.

All y’all are just amazing, big beans and little beans included. March madness move over, February’s the excitin’ time ’round your house! Everytime I see my name in one of these things, I think, “Who are they talking about?” And then I realize that you are actually reading the responses and taking the time to answer my questions–as if you had any time to spare with all you’ve got going on… Thank you. And I should tell you, that everytime I weigh myself and find that I’m still losing weight, I say “Thanks, Nolan!” I think the customs officials are taking a cut as it flies across the Atlantic, but the channel seems to be open… And I’m up to 2 kilometers in the pool every day, so I hope his lungs are getting better as well. But someone else will have to channel his intestines, because mine aren’t up for it. TMI? Sorry.

FIVE POUNDS! That’a a pound in just 10 days. You all look wonderful and I am so happy for you. Glad to hear he’s doing so well and that he’s by a window now. I’ll have to go grab another look at the real thing. Heading home in Feb…that’s such good news!

Well nolan looks great to me. I am soo happy that you guys will hopfully take him home mid Feb. I bet he cant wait. And you guys. Nolan you are doing awesome, i cant wait until the day comes to where I can hold you, and not worry aboout setting off any alarms. tell your parents that i have dibs on babysitting you when they are ready for that. Well nolan you have another hurddle, being your last surgery . but i think that you will do great, youve done good on the other surgeries. You are one of the strongest little babies that ive met or even seen. I love you guys.

The progress amazes me. I am so thrilled that our littlest pal is gaining such traction and there is talk of home. HOLY COW, that’s cool!!! I had the PRIVILGE of seeing Nolan last Friday and he is distinctly chubbed out, healthy pink, and totally adorable. Lots more distinction and expression coming to his face.
