From Palmer, we moved on to Denali National Park. We'd heard stories of what a zoo it is, but I really thought it was quite manageable. We went to the dog sled demo, which is one of the most popular programs in the park. Because much of the park is a wilderness area where motorized vehicles aren't allowed, the rangers still patrol on dog sled in the winter. During the summer, they do demos with sleds on wheels, and let people visit with the dogs. Deb was pretty happy to have a whole boat-load of dogs to visit with!
