After canoeing, we continued down the road with a stop at the McLaren River to see Zoya and her sled dogs. Zoya moved from Madison, WI to Alaska to begin endurance racing sled dogs. We didn't stay too long or get a tour of the kennel, but she was very nice and fun to talk to.

This cairn was at a pulloff looking out over the river valley. You can see that the rain prevented much of a view, but the cairn was interesting, too.
