I love watching how the landscape changes as you fly across the country. Once we left the Southeast's mixed treecover and fields, we fly over the Midwest and its gridded system of fields. It was interesting to see that as we got closer to Chicago, the grid remained but the size of the plots/fields got a lot bigger.
