Check out that lateral moraine! Since the backpacking trip, I have eyes only for the moraines, not the glaciers. This is a pretty spectacular moraine, and it gives you a nice "cross-section" style view. The moraines on our trip didn't have the rocky cliff that this one does, but you can see how the smaller rocks and boulders are just balanced on their slope above that.
