sea lions and belching!
We didn't see the quantity of puffins that we'd seen on the Seward cruise, but we got to see them much closer. We also saw this sea lion rookery, which was really fascinating. They make that insane belching sound which you can hear on the videos.

There was a whole beach of them, and most of them are asleep, all flopped out on the rocks and each other. But scattered all through the sleeping sea lions, who appear to be dead to the world, are these fighting sea lions. They mostly make noises and move their heads back and forth at each other with their mouths open, but they do kind of charge each other, too.
