Though it was sunny and beautiful out, the haze from the forest fires continued to have an impact. We stopped back by the same overlook we'd been to the day before our backpacking trip, eleven days before. You have to look closely to see the mountain that overwhelmed the view before.

Sometimes the lack of a view is just as amazing as the view you're missing.
